My wife and I would highly recommend John Barker as an agent. We initially met John while look at a new Chaffey Home in Issaquah then later bumped into him while he was representing Chaffey Homes in Sammamish. We found his no pressure approach extremely refreshing.
Due to a new job, we needed to relocate from Sammamish to Chicago IL. Having established a casual relationship with John on a new home purchase, we contacted him to be our listing agent on our home in Summer Ridge.
With the pressure of having a new job, move across country, buy a new home and enroll our daughter in a new school within 5 days, our patience level with wanting to accept a slowing house market was non existent.
My wife and daughter had to leave almost immediately; I was flying back and forth for business. During the time we were gone, John handled everything with respect to the home sale and more importantly kept me completely updated.
With the slow market, John frequently contacted other agents for feedback after showings. As a matter of fact, our house sold because John contacted one of the first showings and was able to provide an offer on our house that my wife and I were very satisfied with.

With my family already living in Chicago, and my business travels, John contacted all the contractors and oversaw all their work to ensure everything was completed to the buyer's satisfaction. We knew John was good, but his actions during this time simply shocked my wife and me - we couldn't have been more satisfied.
Because of John's efforts, we were able to sell a house, buy a house, move across country, and enroll our daughter in school on time all in three weeks. Not having to think twice about what was going on back in Sammamish was priceless.
